About the distillery The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999. Other Information Green Meadow is a travel exclusive collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney which embraces the re-use of natural materials in its packaging. A combination of sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks create notes reminiscent of wild meadows with a vibrant, primrose scented finish. The Macallan Harmony Collection is a limited annual release that explores the world of sustainable packaging, fusing innovative techniques with materials from the natural world at the end of their life to see them reborn with a renewed purpose.
